Can you believe it's been 14 years since Game of Thrones first came on the telly? I always avoided the books as I am much more a science fiction fan than fantasy, but the TV series was just something else. After watching the series I started reading the books and it was super interesting to see how faithful to the source material the show runners were. All the way up until the end of season five which is when they ran out of books to make into series.

From season six onwards, this is not George RR Martin's work, and it feels like it too. It lost its way after this but it was still enjoyable enough.

Did you enjoy Game of Thrones? Do you think it lost its way?
