For most of the songs that I like I lean the lyrics and understand their meaning plus sing along. That way I enjoy the song in whatever language it may be. This also makes me remember the song years later. I can connect with the song if I understand the lyrics. Do you learn and understand the lyrics of the songs even if it is in foreign language?

For years I used to listen to music and never really learn the lyrics or understand the music I was listening to. It was only when I started to listen to songs more often than once, sometimes over and over that I started to not only learn the words but also understand the lyrics too.

I love to learn the lyrics of the song, it enhances my listening experience. Sometimes I would write down the lyrics from the TV screen or from a site just to sing along and flow with the vibes.
I can understand the song lyrics from youtube subtitles. If l don't, l try to translate on my own language.
I do sometimes. However, often the meaning is hard to understand and/or it's difficult to comprehend what the singer is saying.
