Usually, I fall in love with certain old music after their prime. To feel a classic album or artist years after their popularity is something special especially if the song resonates with me. I like nostalgia and history. I also consider how the music may have influenced later genres and artists.

I always say that they never make music like they used to anymore and that has never been a truer statement I believe. I often find myself going back to older music, sometimes even as far back as the 60s and I could listen to old songs for hours without getting tired of hearing it.

I always find it refreshing as crazy as that sounds to go back and listen to older music, as much as I do like some newer music, nothing beats some of the songs from years passed.
