I love protein drinks, my favorite are muscle milks. I need to get a big jar of a protein mix, so I can make them at home.

Do you like protein shakes?

muscle milks
Muscle Milk is probably the most flavorful one, but I believe it only has 25 or 26 grams of protein. I need more than that (and calories) for my goals, so I pick up a thicker Lean Body with 40g.

I pre-workout with MET-Rx 32g protein bars because they also have the 42g carbs to help me power through.
I don't go near them, too many calories...fattening.
There's quite a large selection of protein drinks where the calories in it are essentially just from the protein. However, you will get gassy from these if you don't have enough carbs in your diet.

Isopure, for example, has 32 grams of protein with 0 carbs and a total of 130 calories. A plus for it is that it's a "juice" instead of a milky base, so you can enjoy it over ice. Perhaps you don't even need 32g, since I think that you mentioned you're 125 lbs before, so half a bottle (16g/65 calories) over ice after a workout could be a good choice for you.

I mostly drink it for the flavor to be honest. It's hard for me to gain weight so I don't monitor how many I drink.

Add a gainer and you will gain weight. There are too many calories in them that it'd be impossible not to unless you're running 5-10 miles per day. :-P

I don't know what it is with me and protein shakes. I eat every blessed day. I like it more if prepared at home because I can customise the way I want. My favourite flavours are chocolate and vanilla.

I don't drink protein shake, I focus on eating natural protein source like eggs, dairy, lean meat, nuts and seeds, and beans. I have tried making my own protein powder but it consumes time so instead I eat protein rich whole food.

When I get back into working out, I'll add a 1/2 carton of egg whites to my breakfast as my protein drink. It's hard to stomach at first because of the texture, but you eventually get used to it and can get it down pretty quickly. I typically would blend it with fresh fruits for a bit of taste and better sugars.

It's nearly impossible to hit my requirement of 200g protein without a protein supplement, as that'd be 6-9 meals spread out over a day or 5-6 with snacking on nuts and seeds.

Then, I'll use casein (over whey) protein post-workout, as I typically work out at night, as it digests more slowly.

Do you mean you eat raw eggs? Well, I have never tried it. I understand it can be very difficult to get enough protein without protein supplement but if you cut your carbs and focus more on eating protein rich food, you can easily get enough protein requirement.

Do you mean you eat raw eggs?
Pasteurized egg whites that come in a carton, and if not, I will do raw eggs as they are relatively safe in Japan over American eggs. I've never had an issue with eggs here but will still check for blood specs just to be 100% sure.

You will quite often find meals here where a sunny-side-up egg, which is still "slimy" on top so you can see it's not thoroughly cooked, is placed over rice or the entree. Also at ramen shops, you can add a raw egg to the broth of ramen as an option, which gives it a delicious milky texture, though it's arguably cooked long enough as the broth is at temperature when served.

I'd tell you to add a raw egg to Top Ramen to get a taste of it, but if they're American eggs, I wouldn't advise it at all.

if you cut your carbs
To get where I was (100kg) over where I would naturally be with diet and exercise (76kg), this isn't really an option for me. I will have to consume upwards of 5000 calories a day just to maintain that weight, and the calories have to come in some form, whether it's from carbs or fats.

I’m a very big fan of protein shakes too. It's a very convenient way to increase my protein intake. I don't take too much sugar and I try to include artificial ingredient-free ingredients to my food too..

Protein shakes are very awesome because I've tried it. They assist our bodies in development of muscles. But I make sure to choose the shakes with less sugar and no nasty chemicals or preservatives in them.

Protein shakes can also be useful but I prefer to eat healthy food like chicken, fish and vegetables. I think it's better than protein shakes as it keep our bodies healthy and fit.
