off-topic Chai Vs. Tea

In any language that you can think of or any culture where tea is consumed, the word for tea is either a variation of tea or chai. There are no other words for tea, other than tea or chai. Tea that we know today originated in China, when tea traveled through land route, it was called chai, and when it traveled through sea, it was called tea. What is it called in your local language?
We call it chiya.

I don't know any other name for tea. It have always been tea since my childhood. This is a new knowledge to me with what you've just explained.
