I always joke about Die Hard being a Christmas Movie, and that might be my generation's inside joke, as Carry-On will certainly take the cake going forward.

Not too many 2 hour long movies can keep your attention the entire time, or if they do, they have a lot of B-roll that is just a time filler. Not Carry-On. It's gripping from start to finish.

It's about a flunked-out cop, Ethan "Kopek" (Taron Egerton) who couldn't make the academy, so took a job as security in an airport (TSA). He has a protagonist (Jason Bateman of Ozark) who tries to get him to pass a package through as a carry-on but has concerns about what is in that package, which anyone in that position should. So, he tries every way he can imaginable to not get the package through his X-ray machine and onto the intended flight without anyone getting hurt.

Will he let the package through with a threat to his wife? Or to his friend's family? Does it get on board? All questions that you'll have while watching this Christmas movie, as it takes place on Christmas Eve.
