game Can indie games ever compete with AAA titles in terms of quality and polish?

This question has been on my mind for quite a long time and I think it demands an answer. I do want to know whether indie games can match up to AAA. But in my opinion, we know that the large game studios producing AAA titles work with substantial funds along with good development teams yet the creative heart from indie developers puts into the creation of the games matches their standards. What do you think?

The Indie titles maintain their own original gameplay features as well as narrative despite having graphics which fall short of AAA standards. I have experienced playing several outstanding indie games whose fun levels matched AAA games. That is to say that the indie game can actually compete with the AAA games favourably.

I’m in full agreement on this issue. The Independent developers has proven in many ways that budget limitations do not prevent them from designing games that is good. Take a look at the games like Cuphead, Hyper Light Drifter and Celeste. Even the critics point good fingers to this game.
