I enjoy watching historical shows. Some of the best shows I have ever watched are Vikings and Vikings Valhalla, Rome, Spartacus, Nightfall, etc. Do you watch historical shows, what historical shows are your favorite, what do you like about these shows?

I like to watch programs that are related to history. One of my favorites is Vikings. I also like ‘The Last Kingdom’. These shows return me back to the past. It is always a pleasure watching them.

Never heard of these series. Is Ancient Aliens actually about Aliens or something else. Horrible Histories sounds interesting. What is the show about? Is it based on history or is a historical show?

Both, Vikings and The Last Kingdom are good historical programmes. They make history fun. If you like them, you may also watch Barbarians or Knightfall. They’re also about history and include lots of action and drama too.

To me, there can be diverse historical TV shows. I like historical programs and any kind of story that is being told. For instance, the Vikings and The Last Kingdom. They make history interesting and engaging to watch.

sorry for typo, I was trying to categorize historical shows into two groups. One, the shows are truthful to the historical documents, two, the shows has used enough artistic liberty to show the story. No matter what historical shows you think of, they can fall into these two categories.

I've watched many episodes of this series too and have found it fascinating! While a lot of their theories do seem to be a bit wild and sometimes not really fully supported by the evidence (or at least the evidence is "presented" in a way that makes it seem aligned with their theory), the program itself is very entertaining and the ultimate thing is we'll never discover the true nature of the Universe, at least not in our lifetimes. I enjoy thinking about things like this, it's very philosophical.
